State-of-the-art energy rails for the CERES tower in Basel.

Recently, we had the opportunity to work on a prestigious project: the installation of energy rails at the Ceres Tower, an iconic building located in Basel, Switzerland. This large-scale project was successfully completed thanks to the expertise and dedication of our team.
The CERES Tower is one of the symbols of Pratteln’s transformation in recent years.
The building is perfectly located, close to Pratteln railway station, the A2 freeway and the A3 towards Zurich. Conveniences are just a few steps away: the historic heart of Pratteln village, shopping centers, specialty stores, restaurants and aquatic and wellness centers. A recreation area is also nearby.
The CERES Tower stands out not only for its imposing height, but also for its concave facade in dark metallic bronze – a look that’s both modern and expressionistic: with high-end apartments, modern offices and a basement housing a parking garage with almost 200 spaces, storage and technical facilities.
Project background
The Ceres Tower is one of Basel’s most modern and innovative buildings, requiring an electrical infrastructure to match its ambitions. To meet these requirements, Amperio was asked to install an energy rail system capable of guaranteeing a stable, secure and efficient power supply.

The project involved the installation of 480 meters of high-capacity power rails. Technical specifications include:

Rail capacity: 400A / 1250A, enabling different electrical loads to be handled with great flexibility.
