SILO x AMPERIO energy rails project

Amperio Project powers the future at the hstoric SILO in Renens-Lausanne.

Project background

At Amperio Project, we’re always thrilled to be involved in projects that merge history with innovation. SILO project in RenensLausanne, is a shining example of this blend. Originally a grain silo, this building has been meticulously transformed into a modern student housing complex, retaining its industrial essence while embracing a contemporary aesthetic.

Technical details of the installation

Amperio Project was brought on board to handle the critical task of ensuring reliable electrical distribution throughout the building.

Given the building’s unique architecture and the demands of modern living, this was no small feat.

Our team installed 630A – IP55 energy rails over 230 meters, providing a robust and secure energy solution that meets the high standards required for this ambitious project.

These energy rails are not only crucial for the day-to-day functioning of the building but also align with the sustainable practices that are increasingly becoming a standard in modern construction. The IP55 rating ensures protection against dust and water, essential for maintaining the integrity and safety of the electrical systems in a building with such a unique structural design.
